LCF Digital Transformation Grant (WA, 2025-26)
Purpose
Matched funding to help WA-based businesses adopt digital tools that boost productivity, competitiveness, resilience, safety, and sustainability.
Who Can Apply
Your business is eligible if it:
- Has an Australian Business Number (ABN).
- Has been registered for GST for at least 12 months and plans to stay registered.
- Has operated in Western Australia for at least three years.
- Supplies to businesses or government – or is consumer-facing with growth potential.
- Is either a for-profit business or an incorporated not-for-profit Aboriginal Corporation operating commercially.
- Has its main location in WA and will remain there for at least 12 months.
- Employs at least one FTE staff member besides the owner, but fewer than 200 FTEs.
- Has had over $500,000 turnover in at least one of the past three financial years.
- Is financially solvent.
- Is only submitting one LCF application this financial year.
- Has received less than $200,000 in LCF funds over the last five years (not counting COVID-19 rounds).
- Has claimed all previous LCF funding and submitted all required reports.
- Will carry out the funded activities in WA.
- Uses independent, third-party consultants if needed.
- Has not started the project or made any financial commitments before applying.
- Is not receiving and does not expect to receive other government funding for this activity.
Funding Options
Two matched-funding streams at 50% of eligible costs:
- Stream 1 – Operational Improvements
Grants between $5,000 and $25,000 (minimum project cost of $50,000). - Stream 2 – Advanced Tech Purchase & Integration
Grants between $5,000 and $50,000 (minimum project cost of $100,000).
Important Dates
- Opens: 10 July 2025 (AWST)
- Closes: 4 September 2025, 3pm (AWST)
- Grant payments: Reimbursed after you have fully paid for approved activities and provided proof.
Assessment Criteria
Applications are scored by an independent panel on:
- Business Need – 30%
- Potential for Digital Transformation & Impact – 30%
- Solution Suitability & Implementation Readiness – 20%
- Value for Money – 10%
- Financial Viability & Risk – 10%
Only top-ranked applications receive funding, until the pool is exhausted.

This is a competitive grant aimed at businesses that are ready to start or level up their digital transformation but need financial support to do so.
